NEW RECORDS FORTHCOMING FROM ZOOKEEPER, ALEX DUPREE AND THE TRAPDOOR BAND, AND YEGODS! Ok,That's right, three new records will be released this spring from the aforementioned artists. Zookeeper's second recording for the label could feature as many as 10 new tracks. Rumored titles amongst them include, Empty Graves, On Madison Way, Born With Things To Do and The Ballad of My Friends. Alex Dupree's second record, and first for bellecitypop, will be a full-length, orchestral extravaganza, expanding richly upon the acoustic antebellum storytelling of his debut. Thirdly, Milwaukee rocketeers yegods are completing work on their debut EP, a slippery five-song affair reminiscent of a dance-crazed bygone era, the mid-nineties. The availability of these astounding works commemorate a recently completed acoustic juggernaut… After 37 house performances during four months of landscaping America, Alex Dupree and Seth Woods have finally returned to their humble dwellings in Austin, TX. Returning for the holiday season, Mr. Dupree and Mr. Woods plan to reunite with their bands (Alex leads the Trapdoor Band, Seth sings with the Sad Accordions) and resume work on newer material.
